Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi all, been a long time.

I like to save factory wax after a restore if it's in good shape to use it on future projects. I'm working on a 20z lava lite with red wax. I used to know how to get factory wax flowing but I seem to have forgotten as I can't get the wax to stay at the bottom of the globe to melt. It wants to shoot to the top and stay there. Ive been trying Surf, with distilled water and a wee bit of Prop Glycol. It's not working. I know that factory wax is specifically designed to flow in whatever they make their master fluid out of, but I know theres a way to do it without factory fluid because Ive done it before.

If anyone has the knowledge I'm all ears. Thanks!
