Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi all just a question has anyone tried to do a good kit lava lamp replacement on a mathmos fireflow bottle  I had a purple one but now it's gone darker more like plum colour

Does it flow properly? I've been thinking of making my own fireflow with a 250ml reagent bottle and a custom wire stand, but I've been hesitant because of problems I've read about with the OG fireflows.

I couldn't get my fire-flow to work very well, I switched it to glitter

Hi it flows ok when the room it's in is warm or hot but if it's cold then I use a nightlite tealight which is twice the size of a standard tealight otherwise it flows just like a normal lava lamp

I used a Yankee Tealight, and even raised it up with some quaters but nothing

I used a nightlife tealight when mine was cold but a standard tealight other times is yours like the rocket one or the cylinder one if it's the cylinder type the room it's in must be hot to use with any good flow
