Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Has anyone seen one of these Grande Tiffany lamps or even purchased one? What do you think? I think I'm going to splurge on one.

Oh no. I wouldn't do that.

I haven't seen one in person, but... what's to see? It's a Grande base and cap, with a globe made of leaded glass. The leaded glass work is probably done in China, as are most of the ornate 'stained glass' lamps sold in lighting stores. Not sure what these cost, but if leaded/stained glass is your thing, there's little with these that can be fouled up. Just handle the glass part gently - leaded glass is, by nature, somewhat fragile, a good hit that'd bounce off a lava globe might slightly dent these.

god not this POS again.......lol If you going to buy one, I'd break the glass and use the base and cap for a real lava globe, its about the only thing that's okay with these.

If its your thing and you know it will work with your decor / collection then get it and i am sure it will look good.

Personally I wouldn't even think about it as it wouldn't work with my collection / style and also i am not sure about the quality of this item.

Yea, I didn't know where these things came from or what they were like.  I don't think I will get one now. That's why I wanted to ask the question on this forum, because I really didn'y know. Thanx everyone, Matt
