I know brakleen is pure perc, and wd isnt, im just curious what the results were, especially since red label brakleen is becoming ever-increasingly harder to find.

No because it won't work. Brakleen contains perchloroethylene and WD-40 is a mixture of mostly petroleum distillates which from my quick inspection of its SDS none of which are denser than water. You really only have 2 oil miscible options that are obtainable right now, perchloroethylene and chlorinated paraffin.
