I would suggest trying the globes a few times each to make sure. But first give the globes a couple of days to come up to room temperature before placing on heat.
With a Goo Kit, you provided the fluid (distilled water), they provide everything else.
I agree with Keith, give them a chance to get back to normal temperature and then try them out a few times before discarding them; I was told (here in the UK) that Mathmos globes could be stored in an unheated garage in winter. Never tried it, though...
