Lava lamp caps/toppers?

I've noticed on Ebay there are a few lava lamps being sold with rare type caps/toppers. There are frog caps, dolphin caps, mushroom caps and etc. Here is an example, a toady lamp with a mushroom cap/topper. The plastic toppers are an add on product. They range in price, but they are also sought after. 

The earlier icons had ceramic caps, the later ones had plastic caps of various colors. 

I have a plastic purple on my Toady. 

If that toady had the original box, then that price might be appropriate. for the toady and topper. 

and well. here's the spin. I happen to have an extra empty toady box if someone bids and wins that lamp. he he. 

Also fwiw, Mathmos had 3 toppers in the past.

I bought my glitter grande from him on Fri, he used to be here, not sure what his screen name was, but he said he left about a year ago when he got busy with work.

I just didn't know if these caps were handmade or if the caps were made by the lava light company.
