Messaging people

I'm probably being a bit thick but please could somebody tell me how you send someone a message or a private MSG on here, I think I've looked everywhere and can't see the option to do this :-). Thanks

It's stupid how you have to do it so no, it's not you. It's not obvious. You have to add the person as a friend. Once that user accepts your request, then you can message that person. Click on their avatar and in the list below on the left, you should see the link.
