I am wanting to paint all my bases black to match my Midnight bases.
Does anyone know what type/brand of black paint matches best?
Thanks for any info.

I use plastic kotie super dry emamial paint (spray) - I have found that this works really well.
I used flat, but I figure that gloss, with a matte overcoat could work. I guess it depends. Are you doing touch up? If so, I used those small enamal paints, for car models & touched up with flat black, worked beautifully!
Not touching up, wanting to my my silver bases black to match my midnights
If you look for Plastic Kotie super matt black cloure number 1102
Hear is a link to what I mean http://www.plasti-kote.co.uk/Product/pcode---4181#colour_chart
I have painted a ton of bases black, Including my grande. The cheapest generic semi-gloss black is pretty much a spot on match.
I'd use semi-gloss black. Rustoleum is usually a good choice. Most of their spray paint can handle the heat.
lol well you can cook burgers with it, that's for sure. There's no need for high heat paint when its doesn't really get all that hot. Not hot enough to make paint melt at least.
I just picked up some Midnights that could use some touch-ups. Should I use spray paint or brush paint?
Anyone have a product # for what I should pick up? I'm not a painter, but I would like to restore it the best I can.
