Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Help! I got this at a garage sale and I cannot find the right bulb for this. I know I need 40w pearl fancy round globes, as the sticker says. But the screw in part is smaller than usual bulbs and I don't know what it's called, I bought bulbs but their screw in part is much too big. Can anyone tell me the type of screw in it is or link me to the correct bulbs pleaseeee

All coming together now.  Yes, that is a century base from the americas.  Looks like is was re-wired for Australia, where you reside.  So it would take one of your standard Aussie bulb bases, does look smaller than what should go in there.  E14, not sure what your standard bulb size if over there or wattage for that matter.  Good luck with your hunt.  If it is a higher wattage bulb, might need to run it through a dimmer as not to burn the wax over time.

MaGoo!

PS: Welcome to your new addiction!  Have fun and enjoy!

Oh dear, this is all a bit complicated for me, idk much about lightbulbs lol :/
Its definitely much smaller than our standard bulb size.
Maybe this is why I got it so cheap
