Hi all, I'm currently trying to figure out an issue I'm having with my newly revamped Grande lamp. I've been having trouble getting the wax to rise. I Goo kitted it. Distilled water and the right amount of surfactant. I opted to try PG. Does anyone know how much PG I should add? A couple drops, a big glug or small amounts very slowly over time? Any advice would be great.
Thanks guys.

Since a gookit is supposed to work with distilled water I wouldn't think it would take much. I refurbished a grande with PG and kind of just dumped a bunch in, all my wax floated to the middle. I had to take out half of the fluid and start over.
Just add a little at a time and observe how it flows.
and be patient with fine tuning...the added fluid needs to mix in well and also changes temperatureof the whole mix. as soon as you achieve moderate flow wait at leas half an hour before you add more or you will end up with a floating lamp when all it would have taken for perfect flow would have been ten more minutes for the mix to get back to working temperature...att least thats my experience while adjusting home made astro mettallic fluid...
