QUESTIONS ABOUT AN UNUSUAL LAVA LAMP/DESK LAMP

Hello everyone,

 

I'm new to the board and I have a question for you incredibly knowledgeable lava lamp collectors out there.  

 

I acquired a rather unusual lava lamp/desk lamp from someone and I want to know if anyone out there knows anything in addition to what I was told; or if indeed what I was told is accurate/factual. 

 

I was told this lamp is a 40th anniversary collector's edition.  It has "voice control" and you can select just the lava lamp OR have the lava lamp AND the desk lamp on simultaneously.

 

I've attached a photo and I just listed it on eBay.
