So I visited two spencers near me just to see what they had and both stores are almost out of stock. I am not sure if this has to do with schylling buy them but I visit these stores regularly while we are out shopping and they have less less and less.
One store only has 2 52oz lamps left and not to much on 17". The other not much more.
I wonder what's going on?
Thoughts?

Also who knows if mathmos even knows what going on and investigating the possiblity to sell in the U.S.
Have you checked the tracking on your lamp yet as it will be rolling this evening since it's the first pickup of the week.
I've noticed that too, Kero. I had to visit the nearly-dead mall near me to find a Mother of Pearl lamp. It was sold out at a few of the other nearby Spencer's stores I tried and their stock is looking slimmer every time I visit. I wonder what the exclusive agreement between Spencer's and Schylling is going to amount to if they start slashing product lines. I just hope it doesn't go away... as far as China Production goes, Spencer's exclusive designs are some of the best you can find when it comes to current LL lamps.
Every Spencer's lamp I currently have mostly 52 oz I have changed to distilled water and Surf and they work 1,000 times better and allows you to even move do more customizing in terms of liquid color and lava color
Spencers website still shows a full inventory
Who knows if that is really accurate their warehouse might have a ton of stuff but their local stores definitely have very little which seems very odd
Do you still find this is the case? The few Spencer’s I’ve visited have been really stocked before and after Christmas. I much rather pick up the lava lamp in person, the ones I’ve had shipped have been so cloudy, probably from careless handling by the shipping companies
The one spencers I am around often enough to check seems to have restocked with all schylling lava lamps now. I would say more 17" than 16.3" but seems like they are back to regular levels.
Good to hear. They do stock unique ones there. Quality is iffy but I got a clear and neon green lava there that I’m very fond of.

One would expect that the Schylling store would carry every possible color combo, but they don't. Spencer's seems to have laps that Schylling doesn't. It's as if Schylling is actually a re-seller rather than a manufacturer.
