not shure whats up with this

so last week i won this on ebay. i thought a cloudy yellow/orange us gen1 coachlite. turns out its a greenish color with yellow wax. it has a weird metal lid and the coach top does not fit over it all the way to line up with the holes in the rods. the cord is white with a push button swich. what the heck do i have here? and how do i get this lid off so i can work on it?

Comment by lava luva ~ Tiffany on March 10, 2012 at 4:52pm: yes, it does take a us bulb and the plug head (part with the prongs) is also us. the color was alittle darker and more green than it appears in the pics in the pics it looks much more yellow for some reason. i filtered it and it cleared up but than after being on for a while it clouded back up again and wouldnt flow. did that twice so i did a fluid change now it has awesome flow and i dyed it back to the original color.

Comment by Jonas Clark-Elliott on March 10, 2012 at 2:43pm: Does it take a US type bulb? 'Cuz that switch and that globe cap are Crestworth, making it a UK model. The glove is the yellow-green/topaz combo ("Topaz" being the yellow lava). Not sure what to say on the cap problems.
