When we were in buisiness this was a pretty common problem around this time of year. We used to have any where from 15 to 25 customers a year who received frozen globes. At this time of year there is no easy solution. Sometimes they do have their trucks inside a warehouse but most are parked outside and thats where the issues start.

Update?  Make sure you let these come completely up to room temperature.

At least they won't be cloudy due to shaking :P they should be totally fine once thawed, as long as they don't crack but just let them thaw as slowly as possible. And congratulations!! I know you've been wanting to get these for a long while, you'll love the crap out of em!

I have actually had several lamps that have come frozen, welcome to N MN where everything freezes at some point, just let them come to room temp, I usually put mine on a towel to absorb any sweating.  All of the ones I have had have recovered they sometimes take a bit longer to get flowing but they have have always flowed fine after thawing

well mine showed on fedex tracking it was sitting somewhere between LL and here since the 4th . Obviously it was NOT inside a warehouse . I really hope they are smart enough to keep your packages in a truck that is parked inside ! I also have a lamp coming from autumn

I really think they'll be alright if they are slowly thawed back to room temperature.  But I have NEVER seen anything like that in my life!   They must have really shipped them hanging out of the back of the truck in a blizzard.

EGAD, I hope mine from Autumn and Simon don't come like that.  UPS said they "missed" them in the warehouse yesterday, even though it showed "out for delivery" all day.   They lied, they can't have missed two packages and one was a large one.  The driver didn't want to come up this mountain yesterday.

really I am just sick to my stomach over this

Oh dang, Jo, I am so sorry!!   I definitely would not bring them into a very warm room.   Put them in plastic laundry bins or something taller than they are, and leave them in a room that's not the warmest in your house.  They need to "slowly" come back to room temp like Pete said.   I doubt you'll find anyone at LL on Saturday.

Let them thaw SLOWLY at room temperature, I would stand them in buckets to be on the safe side !

I feel so sorry for you Joanne but this could make a very interesting thread !!!
