This was a cool lamp, reminded me of a crystal ball somewhat. Unfortunately it failed...the impeller inside got stuck and would no longer turn to swirl the liquid.

I JUST FOUND ONE LIKE THIS !! got it at a little out of the way goodwill . it actually runs !!! :D soo cute . and yes it looks like I should be able to tell your future with it LOL
I think a stronger magnet would've made it worse. I'm willing to bet that the propeller on the inside is almost pinned up against the rubber seal. You can pull the propeller (a little) away from the rubber seal some so it doesn't sit flush up against it. Stick the motor back in there and try it until you get it moving. I have 2 of these and that was the case for one of them. And for the seal you will have to silicone on the inside lip of the seal so it doesn't leak when you flip it back over.
I had tried with a stronger magnet to try and get it turning again...but never bothered trying to remove the rubber seal. Figured I'd never get it resealed again and the darn thing would end up leaking and making a mess. I'm pretty sure I tossed it too...but it might still be buried in a closet somewhere.
I had one that did this as well, you can take that rubber piece out and try to fiddle with the propeller some. or maybe push the motor closer the propeller.
