Yes, it truly is an amazing design, a shame they stopped production,

the only complaint one could possibly have is the tendency to produce bubbles

the amount may differ from lamp to lamp ,but I still would have to find one that is totally free of the

bubble symptom, which in itself  is a bothersome topic, as the usual tricks and tips for temporary relief don't work with the fluidium, at least not for me, even if I get them all out of the wax, it takes mere minutes for the lamp to produce enough new ones, you just can't keep up with that.

I personally think this is due to the little compartment at the bottom of the bottle and the positioning of the second little coil and the larger coil 'one story up'  That Lovegrove guy sure has got a hand for form, but if it comes to function, lava lamps may not be his field of expertise, seems to me here it was more of a 'form first, function second' approach. Gotta thank him for this beautiful design though, wouldn't wanna miss those Fluidiums, gonna keep at least one, but this one actually is destined for sale on german ebay .
