They're not. They were empty; some former owner refilled them with craft-store glitter and mineral oil, which did nothing. My urn is darker, though.

By the way, I forgot about this one: the one I'm about to get is thus the 3rd, not the 2nd, I've seen with the chalkware urn.

Centerpiece is painted ceramic. Only the 2nd of this model I've seen.

Wow, in this case, all that glitters is Gold. A lovely rare piece.
