thanks tim! i did end up coloring it back to the original green and it looks fantastic.
Nice work, that looks really good.
Green would be a fantastic water colour for this lamp.
mark- yes, your right! it does look really nice with the clear water. my hubby wanted me to keep it that way too but i decided to dye it back to its original green color. i want to do some kit jobs in the future and i will prob do a yellow clear. yellow/purple would be fab too.
Yellow is one of those wax colors that goes with just about any color water. I've seen red, orange, green, blue, even purple look great with it. But you know what? I really like the clear water with it.
Thanks for the tip! I need to try mine again - the wax got all bubbly when I added dish soap.
yep, 52 oz. this is the bubble soap i used http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/imperial-super-miracle-bubbles/ID=... i get it for my kids a 2 for $1 at the dollar tree store. i used a little 3ml medicine syringe and added a drop at a time until i got good flow. i think it was only 1 or 2ml total.
Are coaches 52oz? How do you get such good flow with no bubbly wax? I can't seem to do it. What bubble soap did you use? And how much?
i just have it sitting on this bace while i work on it so i dont spill stuff on my copper coach and crap it all up.
