Hey All, so the telstar I ordered a couple of months ago started having sticking wax. Mathmos recommended I run it longer, submerge it in hot (not boiling) water etc... Everything I tried didn't help. They offered to send me a replacement bottle, which because I'm in the US, still cost me money to forward here. Hey all,I was planning to convert my Astro to US wiring using the post by Brad on here, but the keyless socket I ordered looks a bit different than what was on the home depot website. Has the design changed or has anyone used this particular one? It seems the back plate/disk is now just this metal frame thing with the two screw holes. Hey all!I got my second imported Mathmos, a beautiful copper/black Telstar with Green/Blue bottle. I'm using a converter for the wattage. This is probably the 5th or 6th time I'm running it and it flows...just really slowly. Like, it'll shoot up a big blob like in the image, usually one at a time and very slowly. Could it just need more time to break in? We're having some warmer days here so it is operating at a higher ambient temp than recommended (around 78 in the apartment), and while I'd be…See More
