A flame that once burned bright has been extinguished. A light that has guided me for all of my 50 years. Taught me how to be strong and gentle, caring and firm. Showed me how to love life and take joy in the little things.
Goodbye Daddy, see you on the other side.

So sorry to hear this Keith. Sounds like you had a wonderful father and that's a great thing. Cherish those memories! (((HUGS)))
I'm glad you let us know, Keith. You are definitely one of my favorites around here! (((hugs)))
I'm so sorry, Keith, but very glad you told us, I truly consider you my friend, as I am sure most here do, and we want to be here for you! Your wonderful memories will bring you much comfort just as you said. More love and {{{Hugs}}}. Lib
Thank you for the prayers, kind words, and love. He actually passed Monday and we had his funeral today. I wasn't sure if I would post anything, but I have had a lot of good interaction with friends here and didn't want to withdraw. He was 73 and lived a good life. Although it is a time of mourning I find our precious memories brings a greater comfort than the grief.
Very sorry for your loss Keith. Terrible time for you. Stay strong!
^Hugs^
I'm also saddened by your loss, Keith. Now I know where your humor comes from. Your dad sounds like a wonderful man.
Thanks for sharing with us, your lava family, and God bless you and your family in this difficult time.
With all due respect, bump.
God Bless and keep you in the palm of his hand, my friend. I know how it feels too........
