Packages and International 'Standards.'

Just a quick post today. I'm very tired from helping a friend collect boxes and pallets to move house, picking up my own junk from storage at a friend's and squeezing in time to pick up two ebay purchases. Was nice though I got home unpacked the car (amazing how much will fit in a VW Polo) and discovered my other two ebay purchases had arrived. Plugged everything in to try it and sat down to check my email whilst it all warms up. Really lovely to find friendly responses to my blog, thanks.
I will photo and update next time, but for now I'll just let you know what I've learnt so far: As I watch my first Astro Baby warm up next to the Lava World lamps, I am so glad to be in the UK and be able to buy Mathmos easily. I now understand why everyone goes on about China lamps in such heated terms of dispair. More of than anon, but I think most people can imagine the sight of the Astro Baby flowing beautifully (10 minutes flat) as the sickly little Lava World struggles to cough it's first chunks into the mist.
