The flow looks pretty nice for a LL lamp!

I think this lamp would have looked better if they painted the color bands all the same size.

Its lovely Erin... I see what you mean about the colour banding though... needs just a bit more yellow and green.

I think it will be quite cool if the color banding varies from lamp to lamp.....making each a bit unique.

The spray job is pretty disappointing, yes. It's the worst part of this lamp, and sadly, the main reason I bought it.

Is the color applied directly to the globe, or is it on a plastic sleeve? I am tempted to get one just to strip the color off, and add dye to the liquid. I'm sure I would do an orange/white knowing me, but there are so many colors that would look great with white wax...

The color appears to have been spray painted on. 

I did end up returning this lamp - just wasn't impressed with it.

What a disappointment! :( I shant be buying one, then. If the flow was nice, then maybe, but even then it would be hard to get that paint off of the globe.

The flow was pretty good, but the paint job was sub-par. I returned mine to Amazon after about 10 days.
