I just received this too. As a keen Mathmos collector I ititially rushed to the website to buy one but then had second thoughts. It is nothing special really!! Just a clear/red bottle and a numbered sticked slapped on the box!! They could have at least put some England/World Cup graphics on the base & cap. Again, it is just another crappy release from Mathmos. VERY UNIMAGINATIVE!!

Exactly my thoughts, Mathmos seam to want to make as little effort as possable on the LTDs. a diffrent bottle and a numberd sticker... for £66, not so sure

I nearly bought one but changed my mind as the only thing that says its a limited edition is on the box and you don't display the box lol. I've already got a lamp with red wax and clear liquid, so didn't bother. (watch them be worth a bomb next year lol, I'd wish I'd bought one then and sold it on)

Question about the colour of the wax. It looks very red on my screen, does anyone know if that is a special red just for these lamps or is it a red that you can find in other lamps from previous years. Probably a daft question, I'm still learning about these lamps.

Decided to take the plunge a buy one first brand new lamp that I have brought.

Come on Mathmos lets have something exciting, a Limited edition White Astro with a Clear red ( or pretty much any other colour apart from current range ) would have had me scrambling for my debit card and phone, but not this, I already have a few white AstroBaby's and Clear red bottles as I'm sure most collectors on here do !!! I'll just keep everything crossed :-)

Hi all, being new to the lava collecting scene as I said, I took the plunge to buy one. Because this is my first Astro baby and might as well start off with a limited edition (OK not the best Mathmos have come up with) I was wondering if they will come up with a limited edition for the 2012 Olympics say a white Astro with the five coloured rings around the base and cap?

Hi Susan, not yet I think Mathmos missed out on a selling opportunity by not releasing this lamp earlier in time for the first England match,which has just kicked off. With Gerrard just scoring. Yesssssssssssssssssssssss.
