Fantasia trade for lava lamp!

Well now that you're both here, hopefully the situation can be resolved. If so, I would hope that Chow would take down the other thread and I would hope that Steve has sent the lamps. I think people here have had good experiences with both parties (I know I have with Chow) so maybe this can be worked out? I hope so.

It is a shame when your faith in the human race is tarnished, I feel the same way most days :( Sorry I jumped the gun the other day & I hope you two do get a chance to finish the business between you both. I hope you don't think poorly of me for offering my sympathies to Chow. I was ignorant of the entire situation & bear no ill will toward you, Steve.

The resolution is I am not doing the trade after all and will be sending his lamps back on Thursday of this week when I get paid.

And the damage has been done. I don't take kindly to threats of me and my job when someone doesn't hear from me for 2 days.. not cool..

I appreciate all of you but I think I am now done with this board.. I had given a lot of people great deals on here and when I logged on to see all jumping on me for something they didn't know the story that's not cool and I am not going to be a part of that/this... anyways good luck all

To be fair, I think we were just sympathetic to someone who many of us know and most people didn't jump on you directly. But to each their own. Looks like the thread created by Chow has been removed as well.

Steve, if you're still around, I am VERY interested in the trade, and I have an extra plain-style Coach lamp if that's what you're after. I am the last person to get upset about things taking a few days - or more - and I love Fantasia lamps.

Exactly, Erin. I've apologized for jumping the gun & gave my opinion of the situation. The thread was removed, damage done. Just forget the fact that folks have reconsidered the situatuation, said sorry, I can't apologize any more, since it's not being heard anyway.

This feels like an ultimatum & most folks don't take kindly to that. So fine. Give up on the board & you give up ALL of us. Shame, cause I may not have dealt with/traded with you, but I was willing. I hate to see a member leave, but if that's how you feel, I can't make you stay. I do hope that you reconsider & continue to contribute on the forum.

I think we have it figured out.. I think it was all parties getting a bit excited and treating each other unfair. Waiting to hear from chow if he wants lava back or the original trade. Jonas I will let you know, if trade is out would you sell and what price I would love to get a coach back in the collection.. starting over sucks lol.. stuff has gone up for some and way down for others.. of course what I want is more...

Good to see that cooler heads appear to be prevailing.  These are lava lamps, glitters lamps and fiber optics.  By definition they are meant to be fun stuff.  I have been involved in an identical type of transaction and resultant shitstorm.  Me and the target of my angst are back to being buds like nothing happened and we wound up completing our trade.  Life's too short to get pissed over lava.

Yeah I wouldn't have had any complaints as I was slow just bad timing as I was out of service area for a day and then got well pissed lol.. no bad blood on my side, just worked hard for good trader rep and hate to have it messed.. thanks for everyonea input and thoughts..
