I've recently been told, with shipping from the UK and all, $800 - $1000. That's US value.

Wow.  Thats alot of money ..

I'm thinking $800 - $1000 is likely the low side of the pricing spectrum.  Most likely minimum of $1200 if not significantly more.  Hard part is finding someone willing to ship.

There are two on UK eBay right now - this one ships and has a buy it now price of ~ $1350 USD.  Then you have to pay for the shipping. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Giant-Mathmos-Lunar-Lava-Lamp-/1508134333...

It seems to me that most lunars have a starting point of $500 pounds sterling.  That translates to $800 USD.  Add in shipping and there you go.

wow james how long have you been collecting lunars i mean if you can afford one im sure you have a colossus ?

james, your collection is amazing!!!

Hey Kevin,

I have been collecting what I consider to be "Top Notch"  lamps for the last three years now.

I have spent a lot of time on Ebay, and a little over $20,000 doing so.

I own 10 Lunars and 2 Collossus lamps.

If your interested, check my images to see what else I have obtained. :)
