...in this case, why would anyone pay ANYTHING for it? And why so many bids? Rain lamps in GREAT shape don't get bid on like that!

Here we have one of the late-80s cheapie Taiwanese mini rain lamps, in the worst condition I've ever seen! That lamp is NOT restorable, or worth restoring. Take it mercifully to the garbage can.

A luckey day for the seller and its not like he was passing it of as being ok as the condition was IN THE TITAL, well clearly somone wanted it even though its not worth much.

People freak out when they hear things like "I just found this in a barn and I don't know what the hell it is." Ha ha. They read "This thing is so dirty it might have been excavated from the ground" and think "...Fixer-upper!" It makes them want it more.
