Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi - I'm selling the above lava lamp if anyone is interested and wants to make an offer. Thank you.

Note:  I have the lamp heated up right now and I can't tell for sure if the lava is white or yellow -- it's actually a yellowish-white.  Can anyone tell me how it is to be perceived?  The photo definitely shows it as yellow, so I guess it's yellow.  I'm just curious how other people will weigh in on this.

If I do sell it I don't want to misrepresent the color of the lava.

Update:  Well the lava has got to be "white" because the bottle cap says "03" on it, I assume meaning # 8403.  Does the color of the goo change over time?

It can. 1970s lamps of this color (then called green/blue - true green lava was phased out in the very early 70s) tended to both fade to clear liquid and the lava would 'cook' to yellow or even brown.

Wow thank you Jonas.  You are impressive in your knowledge of this lovely art form.  I'll bet you know a heck of alot about other things too.  :)
