Good luck! I had that happen with a US purple/yellow globe, also. It took a long time of awkward runs, but mine finally came back together just by running it. I guess I was lucky!
Ok i got the cranberry Grande emptied , wax melted back together , put in a gallon of distilled water and she wont budge ! i have put a ton of salt in it ( pickling salt dissolved in water ) She will not move !!! just lays there making teeny weeny bubbles in the wax that every once in awhile a little pea sized ball of them will float up . but thats it! wont even dome
I think I would bite the bullet and empty the wax, get a Magma goo kit, goo it up and have an awesome Grande flowin'.

Try more and more salt. You could also opt for fog machine juice and use that in heavy ratios with water. The fog machine stuff has glycerin and some propylene glycol which increase the density of the liquid easier with less amounts than salts. Or more salts..
I would love to use fog juice but the expense of it if it fails is kinda pricey for me :o( . Remember this is a grande . how much fog juice would I have to use ?
yes, keep adding salt until the wax begins to rise. it takes A LOT, especially for a grande.
ok my version of a lot and yours might be different . LOL . How much pickling salt do you think a Grande takes ?
Does anybody know where the best & cheapest place to get a large goo kit would be at all (preferably in the UK), for a princess lamp?
i have no idea how much salt it will take for your lamp to flow. each one is different, so it's more of an art than a science in this situation. i would add a saturated saltwater solution to the globe instead of adding salt straight to the globe. heat distilled water on the stove and add salt until it precipitates out of solution.

Ok thats what i did . i made a highly saturated solution with distilled water and pickling salt . I know your hesitant to give an amount of salt but just a 'ballpark ' figure would help me a lot ! i mean 1 tsp or 1 cup or 5 cups ?
I am thinking I may have to try PERC to get this baby to move ! lol
