The color wheel in my Fantasia "Love Bug" fiber-optic lamp broke off at the base of the stem. I glued it back on. It worked for several months. Today, I turned it on, and after a while I noticed it was white. The color wheel broke off. Also fell over and got all melted on the bulb. Motor works, but there's just a tiny, roughly-shaped stub sticking out.
Am I sunk, destined to stick with a white light, or has someone here fixed one? Or does somebody have parts? Does somebody here want to buy/trade for this as a fixer-upper?

There's a guy on here who sells Fantasia color wheels - he might be able to help you out. jmpenney is his name? Or something like that.

If you still have that wall sconce in your pics, I have a Love Bug to trade. I will even pay both sets of shipping fees to sweeten the deal. Large 8.5 x 11 picture of my cat will be included as a bonus.
Sorry, Jim, the sconce isn't going anywhere. As soon as I found out (at age 14) that lava lamp wall sconces existed, I found that some antique dealers I knew had a pair they bought at auction in the 70s. It took well over a decade to convince them to sell me one of them.

Thanks, Erin! I sent him a message.
