Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Selling off all remaining glass fiber optics and Sunburst 4000 base.

Hey everyone, I have decided to give up on the building and trimming of replacement glass fiber optic replacement sprays for the Fantasia Lamps. I will be moving soon and will not be continuing this hobby any longer. I have one assembled 16" super long spray usually seen on the black sunburst 4000 lamps for sale but it is UNTRIMMED. If someone is up for the task I will be selling off all of it in one lot. For $375.00 you would get all remaining raw glass fiber optics that would need to be assembled and trimmed along with the one assembled spray (untrimmed) and a fantasia Sunburst 4000 lamp base excellent condition to be used as your trimming stand or as a replacement for a banged up one you may have. It works great, no dents or rusting to the chrome, great color to the color wheel with no cracks in the wheel. I also will include a brand new pair of glass fiber optic scissors and two older pairs. So if any of you are untested let me know. I would like to sell everything together to be done because I have so much else going on right now packing etc. I can give you a briefing on how to assemble the sprays.

Are you still in the market to sell?  How much remaining raw glass fiber optic do you have left?

What a pity! I own one of your personalized colour wheels. Could you share how you made those? And perhaps even sell the materials? Do you have pictures of the untrimmed spray?

This sold today, a spray for $372.00!   I hope this helps you someone work on a solution.  I hope people will be interested in sharing the information they have on the subject.  I'd be interested in trying to make one and hopefully a "at your own risk" kit will emerge.

I will be happy to provide you with all the information you will need if your looking to give this an attempt. It's complicated so I may need to explain things over the phone.

Whoa, that's crazy what they want for those sprays!!!  And did you catch the original price tag on the box??  I want a fantasia sooooo bad, but that would be the one and only thing keeping me from it and it is the one and only thing keeping me from it, lol!!!  Besides the original asking/bidding price on some of the fantasia's, no parts to be had.  Some sprays are either missing or terribly yellowed.  At least with lava lamps you can buy new goo and paint/rebuild/regoo.  I guess if one is a true collector of fantasia's though, it is what it is.  Sad.  Such beautiful unique lamps.  and the plastic sprays just suck and don't do the fiber optics any justice.  I never even realized the workmanship/craftsmanship that went into making those sprays......

Are you still in the market to sell?  Details?  I, too, would be very interested in any information you would be willing to share about assembly of the sprays.

I am interested in 1-2 sprays for the sunburst 4000. If any are still available please Pm me @r  v  r  r  u  n  r  hot****.***

I just started a new thread regarding the making of replacement fiber optic sprays for those of you who were requesting that information you will find it over there plus a lot of communication between me and George Stadnik, one of the designers who worked for Fantasia. Interesting stuff.

My apologies but I am no longer making these sprays.
