Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Have a ? and need a quick response. Hope someone can help

I purchased a lava lamp online. When I go it I noticed it had a white ring around the bottom. Is this normal? Does anyone know what it is from? Age, maybe?

Maybe post a picture?

Like analoghaze said.  The good news is it probably won't hurt the flow.

I did post a picture. You can't see it?

Do you think the wax is bad?

The link for the pic is at the bottom of the original post.

I have a globe like this.  The flow is fine in it.  Run the lamp and see how it is, if there are any problems maybe we can help you correct them.

Always glad to help!

Thanks for your help Keith!
