That is not fun. Looks like not enough packaging used. Can you carefully salvage the wax at least for another refill? Best of luck getting it all worked out

Not a good sight at all.  But yeah, save the wax if you can and for certain save the screw on cap and the coil as they are the hardest to find replacements for.

The seller gave me a full refund. The base was undamaged, the cap has a crack in it but apparently it already had that crack before the bottle was obliterated in shipping. I do plan on salvaging the wax and using it to restore my Consort.

It's amazing how many stupid people think that newspaper is adequate packing material and that the lamp should not be disassembled  for shipping
