I, too, would think it would. Worst-case, refill with a Mathmos Baby bottle.

you can do whatever you want. the real question is should you? anyway in my opinion you should give it a try, the worst that could happen is the density of the liquid becomes too low, in which case all you would need to do to correct the problem is add some glycerin to re-adjust it.
