Hi all

im looking at selling my Astro lantern. I’m going to put it on eBay but I don’t know much about it.

I understand they made a couple of models of this lamp. How would I find out which model I have, and what years this was in production?

Youre lantern would be late 60s early 70s so classed as a MK2 version

[Modulo '70]

What are the differences between the two marks,1 & 2?

MK 1 used 2 slotted bolts and nuts inside the top cap, base stays slot through the base and held by internal nuts and washers, unlike MK2 where the stays screw into the base and held in place
