hey thanks for your message!! i see youre in south, im in west lol! ive added a couple lamps to my collection recently, but the doctor who one is actually a ISO of mine! im so excited to find this community everyone is so nice.
Thank you Modulo. It's a pleasure to be here and to interact with folks who also enjoy lava lamps. I never would have guessed there was such a large and international community.
thank you so much for the kind comment! I've actually got a Black and White Ribcage Lava Lamp from Spencers i still gotta unbox and set up (i totally underestimated the size of the shelf I bought at 5 below so i have to get a bigger one before I worry about setup unfortunately @__@) and from there I plan on getting a few more whenever I can afford them! On the topic, do you have any advice on where to find good quality lamps, especially on the more affordable side?
How ya been? Not 2031 like you mentioned but do feel bad for my lack of replys over the years. Please forgive the time that has gone by since you have written. Life seems to go by so quickly. I have not bought any lamps in years, have sold quite a few about 4 years ago when I loved and have kind of lost touch of values. I have since moved again and have transported some great lamps down to Arizona. Don't have a lot of room to display them correctly so might consider selling some lamps that have been packed away. At any rate, what has been going on with you?
What would you like to know about it? It has clouded up quiet a lot over the years and the glitter has become translucent. I was hoping to resurrect it to its former glory. I contacted the company in the south near me but they said that they don't have that shape bottle or do repairs.
I saw a person had said that they had repaired a lava lamp on eBay. So contacted him he roughly told me how to do it and suggested this website might help.
Hi! Thanks. I’m after making a tinsel foil Fluidium but using old Hunter mix. I’ve been told you might have thin strip tinsel foil like in the old Hunters orange liquid / tinsel foil lamps from the 1970’s. Do you have any?
I would like to post some pics of my collection but, being a woodworker for 35 years, I am not computer literate. Going to need help just navigating this site. Started the account a year ago but, old computer went kablooy. Have a new one now which is completely different. Glad to be back and will be working with this but, any help I can get with what button to push and what does what was be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you! I'm still trying to get my yellow top flow right. Even after I emptied and scrubbed the bottle it climbs up the side. Its better than no flow or all to the top but still... I guess I need to scrub it again.

Thanks so much! I was a member years ago! Glad to be back.
How may I assist you?
Thanks! I can’t wait to share my experiences and projects!
Thank you, I'm not "Mr" forums and Facebook so this is all quite new to me.
I am a lover of lava lamps though and I've found a lot on here very informative.
So addictive, bought a mathmos neo and telstar this week already on evilbay.
Just need to catch the postman before the missis does "Wah ha ha ha" .
Nope!

Thank you! I've looked over the forum for years and years! Great site y'all got!
