Just seen a flock astro on ebay . just wanted to share the news with you all, way above my affordability

yes, I would love to add one of these to my collection, But it's a bit out of my price range at this moment. I've just won a Red astro metallic lamp with box for £10 someone bought one last week for £100. The seller only listed it as a purple lava lamp but to my suprise it turned up today on the box says astro metallic red. Bondan correct me if im wrong is this the rarest colour of metallic after the purple And green.

I got it with the 40w bulb will it run ok on a 30w bulb and will the r39 spot bulb be ok as i have some of these thanks

Spotted the day it got listed, think i'll have a bit of a flutter on that nearer the time, I've dealt with the seller before and he is a top ebayer :-)

I just seen a austin powers mathmos lamp on ebay it looks so cool but the box is batted. I bought a yellow dayglow jet off ebay and the bulb has melted the base a bit where the seller forgot to tell me that the heatsheild had uncliped to the base of the jet. I have fixed it now and only had to pay for postage. But i through it's worth keeping the jet bottle that works fine. I would bid on these really want one have to wait. I love to see how much it will end at.

Wow Did anyone see How much this lamp went for it sold At £410.89 One luckly bidder. Just shows mathmos lava lamps are worth collecting.
