Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I have a lamp that is putting out too many little bubbles. The whole globe is covered with all size small ones. Why is this lamp doing that? My other lamps don't have this problem. Thanks.

It's a Lava Lite 32oz. Not sure of the age. It was packaged in original box and was told it was never used. I have been running it for at least a week now. Hundreds of very tiny bubbles. Not pleased with this lamp at all.
It says 24 but the colors are now clear liquid and yellow lava. I don't know what happened to the blue liquid? On the box it shows blue liquid with lime green lava? Guess the color faded or something.
I think your lamp was definitely used. Sorry :(
I have tried the clear bulb but it is still producing lots of tiny bubbles. Guess it's worn out?
Surely a lower wattage bulb might help, as more heat produces smaller bubbles so I thought. Try a 30 watter.. Good luck
