Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Painted Grande base with white Gookit globe. The wax has the blue florescent color dye added which adds no color to the wax. The blue hue seen is from the 75 watt blacklight flood bulb I use full power, it will run for days without overheating or dimming (takes about 5 hours to get flowing). The wax has maybe 300-400 hours of run time when the pic was taken.

Great Lamp ;o)

Has the white wax suffered any discolouration since this photo was taken?

Looks like my "tired" opal fluidium will have a gookit revival - just what i was looking for!

Does the green fluorescent dye impart no colour to the goo (without UV)?

What's the effect in the dark when using the black light?  Possible to snap some pics in flash off mode?
