Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Just to confirm.......couldn't find this on here but I know I have seen it b4.  There are 4 sizes of lamps, correct?  I know the grande is like 100 and something ounces.  I know the 52 ounces, the Wizard base i think takes 32 oz, what is the next 2 sizes down?  My black/clear classic doesn't look like a 32 oz and my enchantress (what is that?).  Also on Ebay they always list the lamps in terms of inches when it comes to size.  I'd rather they talk ounces to me as then I know what base they fit on.  Is there any kind of chart that shows the inches and then ounces?

Thank you, thank you, and I did need that deep breath because I just read that off to my hubbie!!  lol!!  Ok, got it.  So my new black/clear Classic is 20 oz.  Seems right because the accent's are like 13.99 at some stores.  I was wondering why the price difference between the accent and the classic.  6 ounces is the price difference, lol!!!  Those 8 ouncers must be cute!!  Never saw one that small lately up close and personal.  I'm sure back in the day i have.  Those would be nice for a desk or a very small space.  Hummm, small space in my house, small space in my house...............lol

There is a trend for flow quality to decrease as globe volume decreases, especially those made in China.  If you want a small globed lamp look for the "blip"

http://oozinggoo.ning.com/page/blip

U.S. made 20 oz lamp.  They have a reputation for good flow.

I get a nice flow with my 20 oz black/clear classic even though its china and its clear too!!! So there might b something to that 20 oz flow thing.

Blips were an interim product Lava made in China, before or during the start of full production there, sold mainly at Wal-Mart. They're quite plain-looking but they do have nice flow.

Now, you gotta get all the sizes of the old lamps. I don't even know there! There's the slender "elegant" Enchantress, the small cylinder (Consort, Mediterranean, Astro, etc.), the large cylinder (Regency/Royal, Empress, etc.), the Imperial, the Continental oval, the Mystique square...

I'm still searching the ebay pages mostly every day for the ever so rare find (well except for yesterday, it was 95 here so floated in the pool, worked on my tan, lol), so we will see!!  Shame i'm not into Betty Boop......they had a REALLY nice BB lamp with actually sequins on it.....anybody ever see this one???

This large lava lamp is 250 ounces I believe.

yep, that's the Grande I do believe....I think it's 270 oz.
