Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Does anyone know where to buy these or something similar that will work just as good? I'm in the process of making a homemade lamp out of an old milk bottle and need a tension breaker.

Hardware stores often sell stainless steel coils.

Yes, I've seen them but they are not sold in a circular fashion. Just straight coils.

bend it into a circle

Haha I've tried. They don't stay in a circle because they won't connect at the ends and they don't stay bent.

solder them when bent to a cirle

Optional heat transfer items are stainless steel screen material
Easily obtainable from sink strainers if your local hardware is out of it

Just remover the metal ring
