Yay luck! Second Giant and my last lava lamp I will buy evaaar!

Nabbed this Giant off Ebay as some of you might have seen!

Felt bottom says 941123, assuming a '94 production year.

The condition is great and the cap is plastic unlike my other Giant... boo but I guess I own some history now. Wish me luck firing it up please!

Thanks guys! Any thoughts on the date? As far as the globe goes you can tell that it is handblown, lots of grooves! :)

The base and cap of course are black but very light. I know the cap is plastic and I recall that plastic was used in the beginning, but the base might be really light aluminum or something :)

I'll post some more pics, it is starting to get going and I need to cycle it since the glass is a little hazy in some spots.

Damn I can't see the pictures, but I had my eye on that giant. I really want a blue/white midnight giant and I actually prefer the plastic caps. The seller wasn't willing to post more pictures for me and I didn't trust him to ship it. The price was not right for me at this moment, and I figured someday I'll finally get a giant after I get rid of a few grandes.

I switched to desktop and can see the pics now. Now I know why he wouldn't post the pictures I wanted. I fucking hate when sellers do that! Post 2 lousy pics and ask for a quarter thousand dollars and then won't post more... I would ask for a partial refund lol.
