Just a very quick question to everyone who bought this lamp or bottle, have any one of you had an issue with yours milky cloudy White bands all round the inside of the bottle etc will try and get some pics uploaded this weekend, prepare to be as shocked as I was lol

Hi, Bohdan, Looking at this picture the top looks purple am i right in thinking that mathmos used to make some limited editions with different bottle cap. I have got a metallic with a purple cap do you or anyone know more info on this thanks john

Thanks for all your responses people :-) I have posted a couple of pics to show you what I mean Its very tricky to capture on camera but it really is pretty intense seeing it with the naked eye in darkened room, However the good news is it should be replaced once they see the pics :-)

These look like moudling scars i have had a few bottles with these they go away the more you use the lamp. But i can see there is too many on this bottle only should have a few.

Hmmm... I'm glad this has been brought up - I have a bottle that looks like this. It's a blue/blue astro and it wasn't the greatest bottle - lots of flaws in it. I sun faded the fluid to clear - I think that improved it at the time. It's been running most nights for 6 months and it seems to actually have gotten worse for some weird reason :(

Maybe I should ask about a replacement too... probably not much hope now that I've faded it though...
