Now that moderation is a bit tighter, I'll give this another go. This is a fantasy thread ONLY. For the sake of this thread, we're assuming that it is now at least 2015; Lava Lite has already gotten their act together and is once again producing high-quality lamps. They've decided to give us collectors another go and, liking the beautiful images in the old catalogs, have decided to produce limited runs of replicas of vintage Lava Lites just for people like us. Furthermore, they've come to OG and asked us to decide amongst ourselves what we'd like to see and present them with a somewhat unified front.
WARNING: There will be ZERO bitching about Lava Lite in this thread. If you'd like to do that, feel free to start your own thread. I'll be asking the mods to delete any inflammatory posts here, so do me a big favor and keep this discussion both civil and at least mostly on-topic. For example, if there's a model that's getting a lot of votes and you've never seen one in person, feel free to ask for details.
How many lamps would there be per edition? 50? 100? 500? Another number, less or more...? What about colors - would each edition come in one color, or would each be available in multiple color options? You can also make up fantasy models based on old ones or fantasy colors if you like. Want to see a chrome Consort with a mirrored base? Describe it and put it down!
Here are some examples, and they're ones I'd personally like to see.
Example no. 1:
--Limited editions for winter/spring 2015--
Aladdin, series 500, 06 red/clear; Carlisle, series 300, 03 green/blue (cream lava; Saturna, series 400, 02 orange/yellow (red lava); 250 pieces of each, numbered and dated. Bottles are, of course, interchangeable. $95
Example no. 2:
--Limited editions for all of 2015--
Consort, series 2200, American Walnut base, 06 red/clear. $55, edition of 300.
Enchantress Planter, series 8200-N, with flowers, 03 green/blue (cream lava). $85, edition of 300.
Imperial, series 500, American Walnut base, 02 orange/yellow (orange lava). $275, edition of 50.
Example no. 3:
--Limited editions for summer/fall 2015--
Continental, series 3000, 200 each 06 red/clear, 03 orange/yellow (orange lava), 02 green/blue (green lava). Modified to accept standard Victory restaurant candle cups, and supplied with red, amber and green candles respectively. $65
Astro Lava Lite, series 2500, 200 each 06 red/clear, 03 orange/yellow (orange lava), 02 green/blue (green lava). $80
Executive, series 2700, American Walnut base with swivel pens, 200 each 06 red/clear, 03 orange/yellow (orange lava), 02 green/blue (green lava). $95
Ideas? The idea is to rise above concepts like mass-produced resin bases and themes around rock stars, and instead bring back classic Lava Lites or modifications thereof.
Again, PLEASE, keep discussions civil and mostly on-topic. NO discussion of Mathmos or of why you think Lava Lite sucks and always will suck; "I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself" won't make me shrug and leave your vitriolic post in place. Make your own thread. Thank you.

I would like to see the imperial reissued with chromed top and base limited to 1000 pieces, 900 with polished or satin aluminium legs and 100 with carbon legs for the ones who are ordering quickly enough. Also for the price an imperial would cost today, they could offer a free choice of wax/liquid color.
I would also like to the the saturna in a chromed version and big enough to hold a 52' bottle.
I'm gonna go a little later in history here and say I want to see ceramic icons back as a limited run. Some of my favorite lamps because of their unique shapes which are different from the resins today which have the same general cone shape as the normal lava lite.
Jester
A Flock based Century with the same ring circle going around however with LL glowing around when lit. The Flock color in Blue-Black-Red or Purple with also having the base raised on 3 legs with the inner center also lit. The globe for Purple Flock to be Orange liquid Orange lava. The Red to be Red/Red. The Blue to be Blue/Blue and the Black to be Black lava yellow liquid. Limited to 500 runs per color. Cost would be around $300.00 each with globes having the original twist off caps also numbered as with the base and box.
The Imperial! I'd buy one!
I'd like to see some sort of Century limited edition. Chrome or black chrome. I LOVE the idea of an illuminated "Lava Lite" logo on the base somehow.
Consorts...yeah. That would be awesome. So much could be done there.
James and the Giant Starship? I'd buy tickets to that. I love the idea of bases gaining the script Lava logo again, it was a nice touch. And we definitely need Wave Machines again - electric ones in the traditional blue - they're really extremely relaxing to watch. And yeah, the chrome bases were nice. I, personally, think they'd be a hot seller, what with stores carrying an endless array of novelty lights and devices, many of which are needlessly complex or extremely cheap. The Wave Machine is mechanically simple.
Am I the only one who wants to see a Lava Lite pole lamp? For those who don't know the term, a "pole lamp" is a 1950s-1970s era lamp in the form of a vertical pole, with a foot at the bottom and another on a spring-loaded extension at the top; this lets it be 'stuck' firmly between floor and ceiling. The most common models had three-way switches and two or three lights, usually on multiple sides (most commonly, example: bottom light on left, middle on right, top on left). I've always wanted a two- or three-Princess pole lamp. Only problem with pole lamps is that they don't work too well unless you have an approximately 7-8 foot ceiling - unless extensions are offered that lift the top end of the pole (with the sprung extension in it).

I would love to see a Giant Starship lamp.
Made with a thick, heavy, highly polished chrome body.
The USA version of a Lunar?
With several really nice lava globe color combinations available.
Priced around $500.00
There have been so many spectacular special lamps over the ages.
Since I've owned so many of the vintage lamps throughout the years. I would like to see brand new ideas!
I would love to see the imperial , but then again the colossus was sort of the modern imperial when you think about it.
I would love to see Lava Lite bring back stuff like the aroma ring or add on tables to other lamps (like Bodhan's custom jobs... Need I hint that it could be a nice side business).
I would love to see some form of new modern glitter lamp (that used the old formula) but was wired in a way that it was a color organ and synchronized to external sound.
I guess sort of a smart astro hybrid. But the colors were synchronized to frequency bands that locked onto sound.
Thinking further, having the lava lamp be a hybrid into other products could help spread lava into other life styles.
Dr What?! brought up the poly concepts products.
These consisted of the :Lava Phone, and the Desk lamp which had a lava lamp built in. What a great product that was.
I hooked mine up to a sound activated switch and could turn it on and off with the spoken word.
Lamp commander On. Lamp commander Off.
You said fantasy.. Someone's gotta dream these things up.
