Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

This may not look like much, but I've seen one other of this model, pretty much identical. The globe is completely sealed; the metal cap lifts off to reveal the pointed tip. The globe has various random indents in it. In the bottom is a heap of hollow glass beads. Bubbles of vapor form in the beads and rise to the top. Not the most wild boiler, but interesting and rare; I call these 'bubblers,' and have seen some using beads, one using gravel, and a few using no bumpers at all.  ('Bumpers' is the term used for the granules in bubble tubes that help the vapor bubbles form near the heat source)

One day when I am sitting at home and thinking to myself "I sure would like to spend all of my extra money..." I am going to check out ebay france. There always seems to be something neat there.

Some wild and unique stuff out there if I could just get past the language translation agony...lol.
