Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi All! I stumbled across your site when doing a search for some replacement bulbs. Lots of neat stuff here!
My question is: Does anyone know of an available replacement for GE D26 and D28 bulbs? I have a Saturn sound activated light box that has a couple of burned out lights in it. It was made by Maytronics in the 70's. The label on the box says to use GE D26 bulbs in one position and a D80 in another.
Thanks in advance for your help!

They look like those big christmas lights to me. Any candelabra socket light should work I would think.

Hi Autumn!
I tried a nightlight bulb with the candelabra base, but it wouldn't work.   :(

try an intermediate sized bulb then.

Any chance we could see a photo of the bulbs in question? there is a site here in the UK that stock loads of hard to find bulbs ;-)

You may have to be patient, but the D26 Twinkle Bulbs do show up on eBay.  I have about 6 sets of spares now.

The bulbs look a lot like a C7 bulb. Does anyone know the difference between the D26 Twinkle and the D80?  I'm thinking the D80 might be a steady burn.
