Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Got it on clearance...can't complain.  Just wondering if anyone thinks it might clear up.  Been running it 2 days now off and on....seems a little better than when I first unpacked it, but not much.

Yea something like 4 hours on 4 off, with a timer. I've been cycling one of my grandes at 6 on/6 off and it's helped but I think it's reached it's maximum clearing point without a filter..

i dunno about the 4 on 4 off routine.  i did that with those new neons i got... i dont think its helped one bit.  ive unplugged em to give em a rest for a little while... since thur i think... grumble grumble.

cycling seems to help with older lamps (e.g. 90's), but doesn't do much with the newer ones.

jeff - i don't think that one will clear given my past experiences.  i would contact LL about a replacement.

I had two that were very cloudy . I changed the liquid and scrubbed the globe . reused the wax and they are both running nicely !

Anyone else been having trouble getting ahold of LL?  I placed an order for some bulbs a month ago, sent them an email and called and left messages but got no response whatsoever.  I don't think the order ever processed right because I got a very weird order number, and I got an error about the paypal recipient account not being configured correctly.  I had left messages and sent email, but since I got no response, and I never was charged I just re-ordered it again this week.  This time the payment went and I got an order number that looks more like an order number.

But I'm just curious...why would they fail to return my calls or emails?

they (susan) returned most of my e-mails, but did not return a recent phone call from me.  i would just keep calling during business hours.  i think she's a busy lady.
