Its a beautiful lamp but I personally prefer the lava.I hope the person who buys mine spends out for new liquid kit from Mathmos as I would love to see it flowing properly.
normal furniture but quite a few lamps the lava refills are pricey and have to be filled carefully due to poss clouding or worse wax stick to the glass if bottle isnt properly cleaned, i did refill with the lava years back when it cost 150 quid , maybe one day i refill it again if i win the lotto

It looks nice I would rather lava but the refill kit is pretty expensive so understandable ,have you got all retro furniture too or just alot of lava lamps ?
I'm the opposite I have a load of retro furniture not many lamps !
Well for any potential US bidders I have obtained UPS Air freight estimate this would be a wooden crate delivered on pallet.Insured
Cost would be £300-£400 (GBP)
The shipping to the US really isn't that outrageous, considering... Now if I could just hurry up and win the lotto!!!
Most expensive lava lamp ever? Auction End £2716 was the final price!

And you have to replace the contents after x hours of operation I believe.

While the lamp is worth more to me than what it sold for, it is not the highest price ever. The Monster costs more than that new and all optioned up.
