Do I have what I hope I have? Globe 01 - Clear/White

I got this on eBay last week. I saw it and though "oh, another faded 03", but then looked at the pics and noticed that it didn't have any cap code. Then I came back on OG to see what I could find out about the elusive 01 globe. A post by Lamphead said that the the 01 globes did not have any markings on the top.

I'm running it right now, and the wax has separated, so I might have to open it up and take out some liquid to get all the wax back together. 

Thoughts?

Wax is still separated into two sections. One rises to the top and one melts and stays at the bottom. They don't combine. I might have to open the globe up and melt them back together.

I'm pretty sure it's an "01" globe. I just have to decide if I want to pop the cap or keep trying to get the wax back together by running it.

Yay! I was hoping you'd chime in! Do you know anything about these? Like, how many there were? Who got them? What base/cap they were "released" with? The wax in mine is no longer white. Looks like it hasn't been run in a long time. 

Know anyone else (besides you) who has one?

WOW! I know zero about the white/clear, but if I had to guess, I'd say you've got it. Congrats!

From what I was told there were about 100 made. They were for an employees wedding as table gifts or center pieces ?? They should have all been on Princess bases. A few were sold either from Bizzare Bizzare or Ricks Gift Emporium on the Northside of Chicago which both had direct connections to Lava World at the time. 

  I have seen a few over the years, someone on here posted one a couple years back.
