Reminds me of a big orange tabby cat that lived with me years ago.

It really sucks that pets don't live as long as we do :(

stray that found me, and spent 17 years with me till i had to make the worst decision. they may be gone but you always remember em xx

She is especially torn up over this.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I have volunteered at a local cat rescue for the last five years and am a huge cat lover.  There is nothing like the unconditional love of a beloved furry friend.

I was more upset with Cyril ginger Puss than family members passing away, hardest part is you look and there not where they always were, I have pic on my notice board so see him every day, and maybe one day another one will arrive on your doorstep looking for love xx

Agreed  on the death of cat vs family-death and loss of unconditional love is hard to accept

Oh man Claude, I am so sorry.  Being a dog fanatic (have a cat too) I know the pain when you lose a beloved best friend.  Keep your chin up and try to revel in the memories and knowing that you provided a good home for many years.
