having recently been fortunate enough to purchase my first ever Florence Art lamp recently I was surprised to discover there was no group dedicated to these somewhat enigmatic lamps...so here it is! Frank Chillino, feel free to contribute as you've a fantastic collection and knowledge. Anyone else out there in lava land (or should that be Glitterville?) have any pics and comments you wish to make. Please feel free!

Does anyone here have a definitive answer as to how many model types there were made of Florence Art Lamps?Continue

Not sure if this is Florence art.. but it’s vintage and bought on eBay back in 2001
Welcome Miss Chi v. Us (Kim S) to this group dedicated to the fabulousness of Florence Art.
Hi Christian and thanks for joining the Florence Art group.
Honoured to welcome Mark Goo to this group on your illustrious site.
I call it Tripod because of the detachable Tripod stand. I know some of the standard cylinders are called Astro Lites.
Thank you Mark, I got really lucky there. I've always loved these lamps.
Nice lamp you've acquired!
I did see that after it had sold, and didn't realise it was a Florence, but obvious now that I know!
Haven't seen one before....is there a name for this model/is it very common?
Welcome Jus to the beautiful land of Florence.
Thanks for your invite, and good luck with your new group! Sorry can't help with your question...
